It might be an understatement to say the love of hair runs through Luz Galaviz’s veins. Born in Barahona, Dominican Republic, Luz was just 13 years old when she started working at a hair salon in Santo Domingo after studying at the Academia de Belleza Nacidit International and two years later was operating her very own small salon. With her background in haircare, it was a no-brainer to continue the tradition when she married her husband David Galaviz and moved to Texas.
Upon arriving in Houston, Luz worked at Soraya’s Dominican Salon before the owner sold the salon in 2009. Wanting to stay in the beauty industry, Luz rented a booth at Lovely Hair Studio in Houston where she continued to increase her clientele and build her reputation as a talented hair stylist in the area. It was while booth renting at Lovely Hair Studio where Luz decided to open her own hair salon. “All of the sudden I had the idea and starting asking myself , ‘why not just open my own?’ I shared the idea with my husband and he agreed and supported me totally.” Not long after discussing the idea with David, they started looking for a location. They visited a lot of potential spots, but the location they ultimately secured needed A LOT of work, “It was a complete disaster inside, but I had a vision of how I wanted it to look and with David being a handyman by trade we saved money by doing all the work ourselves.” David immediately went to work with the help of two close friends. The three of them worked around the clock while Luz worked at the salon during the day and juggled helping at the new salon in the evenings and caring for their two young boys.
Luz was very particular about how the look and feel of the salon “I wanted the salon to have a tropical feel – like you’re walking into the Dominican Republic.” Colors were very important in reflecting the tropical vibe, so getting it “just right” was important. “It took two paint jobs to get it perfect; the first time we painted it looked horrible! The paint just didn’t look good on the walls so we re-painted with Green, Orange and Yellow.” Second to the look, Luz wanted the salon to have a very comfortable atmosphere. “I wanted sofas in the entrance for people who are waiting on services or for the person accompanying someone to the salon to sit and wait.”
Beyond the style of the salon, Luz is most excited about caring for women’s hair. Unlike the East Coast where women can get RoundBrushHair from a variety of Dominican salons, Houston doesn’t boast of a large network of Dominican salons. “I love doing hair – all types and textures. From kinky curly to lose wavy hair I work with all textures including natural hair. The the only hair I turn down is hair that will be damaged by straightening. I would rather turn someone away and apologize for it than to damage their hair.”
We’re excited for Lucy and her team of hair stylists, Maritza and Tyciana as they pamper the women of Houston with RoundBrushHair!

I am so glad that I got this email. A few years ago when Luz was working at Soraya’s she did my daughter’s and my hair. She was absolutely awesome with hair, and has the sweetest personality. When Soraya’s closed, I lost track of her… and now here she is with her own shop. WOW. Congrats Luzy! Hope to see you soon!
I will try this beauty salon because I am new to Houston and I have been looking for a good dominican hair stylist with no luck. Hope the prices are good too because I have noticed beauty salons here are too expense compared to the ones in new york.
I have been looking for a reasonably priced salon here in houston. It costs $80/relaxer, style cut, and blow out, which is cool. Foe jusr wash, roller set & wrap however its $45. Too much. In NY wash & set $20-25 max.
I agree. Im from the Bronx and been with my dominican for years until I moved here to Houston. I used to only wait until I went home to get my hair done. I am going to try her out, but I know it won’t be that $15 wash and set like at home! Houston charges a lot for everything. Have you ladies went yet? what was it like?
Im from the Bronx as well and new to Houston. Just wondering if you ever tried the salon and how did it compare to NY
Hey ladies I’m new to the Houston area as well from Hudson County, New Jersey and I haven’t found a good Dominican Salon .. Any feedback would be great as to quality and price .. I doubt it’ll be the wash/blow out for $15 like back home =/
I’m so glad I’m not the only New Yorker who is looking for a “Dominican Stylist”. My stylist in Brooklyn was actually Puerto Rican and had been doing my hair for about 17 years. He was great with haircare and knew how to properly apply a relaxer and cut my hair in layers. I will further look into this place, although I’m not too happy about the pricing. I guess it’s something to get use to.
Rose is your bklyn hair stylist from maribel’s hair salon? memo?
Congrats Lucy!!! I love the salon, it is beautiful!! I am so happy we got a chance to work together and form a friendship while you were with me at Lovely Hair Studio.
If anyone wants to check out Lucy’s skills doing a roller set on my hair you can on my YouTube Channel.

Love you Lucy!!!
thank you very much leila, you are a rock girl,im happy to have you on my live:) thankz
Well, I gave this place a try the service was not what I was expecting and the prices are ridicules, my hair wash was good but the blow dry was too fast, made me feel like this place only cares about money, I’m glad I was recommended to another dominican stylist. Good luck to this place.
Hi! which dominican hairstylist where u recommended to?
Hi Suzannette. This is Lucy. Rosa was a made up name, she never came to the salon. If you want any recommendations I’ll be more than happy to help you. I have a couple of friends in the business.
I am looking for a Dominican Beauty Shop in the Clearlake/Webster area, do you know of any saloon in this location. Thanks!
Hello, Rose is telling the truth, I would recommend going to Betty’s Beauty Salon (713)910-7594 off 59 past the Hobby Airport is a Doninican Shop ran by a mother and daughter and the are very nice and and has great prices and on time the reason I didn’t got to them this time because I was looking for something close to my home. But for now on I will be taking the drive!
I am a Puerto Rican woman and I just made my appt. at Betty’s Salon. I will let you know how it works out!
Yes I agree, Lucy does not have set prices and this is the only salon that I know of that does not have prices posted. I under stand it deepened on the length and texture. But it she be one price for short hair and one price for long hair. I have been to other Dominican shops in Michigan and was taking to some costomer from New York and they stated that the Dominican shop there also charge a flat rate! This place will not be open for long.
I’ll try this salon because I am new to Houston and I was looking for a good hair stylist Dominican unsuccessful. Hope the prices are good, because I noticed the beauty salons here are for the account from those of New York.
Hi Rosa. What day did you go to the salon and who blew out your hair? Its weird that you said them comments because you are the first to do so. When we have a new, or frequent client come to the salon, we always take our time to talk with each client and make them feel comfortable. We do quality work on hair and we have never had anybody say we blew them out too fast. Our salon focuses on just the opposite of what you said, attention to the client. Nowwhere in houston will you find anybody charging NewYorks prices.Good luck!
Re: Rosa’s comment
Reviewers please be aware of possibly fake comments by competing hair stylists. We have a sign in sheet so when we read the above, naturally, we reviewed the sign in sheets to find “Rosa” to speak with her directly to address her complaints, since these comments are so far from what ANY OTHER CLIENT has ever said about us. Funny, we couldn’t find a “Rosa”, Funny, all “Rosa” had to say was that the blow dry was to fast, NOTHING about the quality of the blow-dry……just that it was too fast and how happy she was that she was referred to another Dominican stylist. This is not NYC and you will be hard pressed to find NYC prices in Houston. With that said, are prices are within a five to ten dollar range of other Dominican Salons and we include things in our service that other salons charge extra for. Ridiculous? I think not. @ Lucy’s, we do quality work, with quality products, we take our time, discuss what we are using and what our guests can do to improve the integrity of their hair….. We truly CARE for our guests because we love what we do! With that said, you can’t make everyone happy and you will have some people who just don’t like what you do or how you do it, and that is perfectly fine. Lucy does not run her salon like a factory, more concerned about volume versus quality, which made this particular comment strange. If a guest does not like their service, we go above and beyond to try and remedy the situation……If we are aware of the issue or complaint. We can’t do anything when you choose to go to a website and leave a vague complaint instead of mentioning how you feel at the time of your service. We are completely approachable and embrace constructive criticism, that’s how we get better & improve our services. So if your reading this “Rosa”, please, we invite you to come in and talk with us directly, let’s find a solution & hopefully we can change your mind about the salon. If “Rosa” is actually one of the other salons then take note: Houston is a large enough city for every Dominican salon here to have an amazing clientele. We don’t bad talk any other salon, even when we get guests with damaged hair from other Dominican salons in the Houston area. We even refer people to other salons if it would be more convenient for them to get to or cost effective for them due to the high gas prices. We do that because we aren’t Haters who just care about money…..We truly care about our guests. Houston is big enough for everyone to succeed in this profession without making factious comments on websites to drive guests away from another salon. So if in fact this was another stylist, step your game up and maybe you won’t have to resort to these childish tactics for more clients.
Said with CLASS!
I have never heard of your salon, nor have I ever been. I agree with the comment from Nicky Brown who stated this response was handled with mere profession and class. I will be calling you guys soon to make an appointment. I haven’t relaxed my hair in almost two years and I do not plan on doing so. After hearing so many raving reviews on how Dominicans do good hair I decide to google hairstylists from DR, and here I find your salon. I look forward to seeing you soon!
I’m very happy to see such a nice salon open in North Houston that has brave, intelligent stylist who are willing to care for & style all types of hair (that’s my politically correct way of stating they are willing to care for hair of all people including us of African decent). I’m hoping the prices are reasonable. I have kinky-coil natural hair, & have yet to find a stylist in Houston who can style & care for my hair with out taking chunks of my college tuition. I’m saving my next few paycheck for the price tag it may incur to get a roller seat & then try out a heat protected blow-out but, I plan to visit this salon soon. Congrats to Lucy on your endeavors!
Im so happy to find a Dominican salon in houston! Im originally from New York and since I moved here I had to take the perm out of my hair. Im natural now and I will be making an appointment once I take my weave out, lol.
I was told that the Dominican Salons were great. I don’t want to put another perm on my hair and was told by a very good friend that I should go to a domonican solan and start getting my hair blow dryed. Can you help me?
Thanks!
On a scale from 1 to 10 I rate Lucy’s a 5. I Dominican prices are usually less and here she is high just because this is Houston so what and this isn’t healthy hair care. All the products are not Dominican they are products used everywhere. My hair got extremley dry after my visit and now it is shedding it’s too much heat. Brushing and blow drying is not good for black hair period I tried and I should’ve listened to what I was told. This may be fine for bi racial hair or so called good hair but I don’t recommend this on a regular basis special occasiion or once in a blue moon maybe yes. Don’t believe the hype!
Hello! I’m just a few comments/questions for you regarding your post:
1. You should read the entry about “Not All Dominican Salons Are $20″.
2. Was this your first experience at a Dominican Hair Salon?
3. Maybe the roundbrush technique isn’t good for your hair, but a lot of women with black hair (non bi-racial hair) have great results from going to Dominican hair salon.
I personally get my hair roundbrushed with heat every week and my hair is the strongest its ever been. Now, not everything is for everybody, so maybe your hair doesn’t respond well to the technique. At any rate, I definitely hope you’re not discouraged from Dominican salons as a whole after this particular experience.
Your right its not for every body and me personally will tell every body I know to beware for your hair and wallet! Its not worth it don’t believe the hype! Very discouraged will never let another round brush and blow dryer technique rob me of my money time and my hair that was in better shape before!
Attention ” Beware Forurhair”
This is Lucy the owner of Lucy’s Salon. I’ll say this respectfully and with class.
If any of my clients ever have a complaint I am the first to know about it through communication in person usually or thru a phone call. If you are saying the truth please call me, but without communication everything else falls into a lie. Now according to products, we do use dominican products , but of course not all products that we use are Dominican, because we do different types of hair. In Dominican Republic, I had my own salon for 5 years and I hardly used Dominican Products, because most people preferred Italian, Spanish and international products( ex. alter ego, alfa parf, salerm, vitalitys and alot more ). With this I don’t want to say that Dominican products are not good. I look for quality products that work well for my clients no matter what the cost. To the shedding part. Tell me one good reason why you didn’t contact me directly about your hair shedding. I think anybody , anywhere would first contact the salon , if the salon truly had part in the shedding of hair. Call me directly if you truly care about your hair and if you are telling the truth.
Lucy 281-736-7756.
Since moving to Houston from up north, I decided to search for a Dominican Salon because of my high expectations in creating beautiful hair. As I searched the internet the pickings of salons were very slim, but I decided to go with this newly opened salon “Lucy’s”, the location was convenient and I respected the owner’s summary of her hair and personal life experiences. I am pleased to say that I am very happy with my choice, I felt very comfortable during the entire experience. My hair was washed, rolled(I love the dryer seats, never sat under the hair dryer in such comfort) and blow dried with no wait time in between (I was hoping to spend some time on the new leather couches but there was no need…lol). I am a African-american woman with very thick textured hair, but once I left “Lucy’s” my hair was so bouncy, soft and light, I found myself shaking my head from left to right soooooooooooo many times, Loving it…. My hair has lasted for about 2 weeks without ANY HEAT or oil maintenance and today I was back again in “Lucy’s chair excited about my new found hair stylist…
I’ve been in Houston for four years now and was flying back to Ny to have my hair done by my Dominican hairdresser. I have a baby and cant go back as often now. I’ve been searching for a hairdresser in Houston for a while. I’m excited to visit this new solon!
I am a West.Indian mixed female that takes great pride in my presentation. My hair is washed, condition, roller set and doobie every week- when my hubsand was recollected from Northern New.Jersey I wanted to die. My initial thought was what going to happen to my hair, where will I get my Una products now. I told my stylist who is Dominican that I was leaving she felt sorry for me because was going to suffer, very glad I came across this. I will try this salon …
Can you refer me to someone one the southside. I live in missouri city texas and i donnot drive freeway.my daughter and i hair is natural, do you flat iron, press or blow dry the hair. you may reach me at my email r call 281-467-0408.
I have been going to Lucy for about 4 months now at her new salon and I have to say she is by far the best hairdresser on the North side of Houston. My hair is healthy and shiny and everywhere I go I get nothing but compliments. I had my hair done by her previously when she worked at a different salon which eventually closed down, and I am so happy she now has her own location.
Her prices are not the least expensive that can be found in Houston but it is definitely worth it, trust me. I had the 25 dollar blowout at another Houston salon only to have my hair frizz up 2 hours later and have to flat iron it myself once I got home. To sum it up you get what you pay for at this salon. I personally love her work and dont intend to change salons. Lucy all the way!!
Hey Luzy….. I am kind of scared and excited at the same time… One I have not really had the experience of going to a hair salon. Why.. bc I don’t like to invest money into something that leaves my hair frizzy a couple of hours after I leave the salon and I wind up putting it back into a pony tail. I have very curly hair and have not even attempted to go back to a salon bc no salon knows how to deal with my hair…. If that’s what you want to call it. My co-worker told me yesterday that I should look into a Dominican hairstylist bc of my hair texture… so you are the closest one to where I live. I have been doing my homework on your salon and I am willing to give it a try. I hope that you personally will be able to do my hair. When are times that you are slower… If any
If your salon expreience is gold all the way around then best believe I will be recommending you to others and you will have client for life. God bless you in all your Endeavors!
Tashia
Hi Natashia. This is Lucy the owner of Lucys Salon. The salon is usually slower on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so these 2 days would be the best days to come. I can personally do your hair and hopefully you will love the experience. Call me anytime for an appointment 281-736-7756 or 281-583-5223 Salon. I hope to see you soon.
Hello Lucy. I just made an appointment for tomorrow. I am excited to see your magical work done to my hair. I am Puerto Rican and just moved here from Orlando, FL. Where there are Dominican hair salons in every corner. Its so difficult to find a great hair dresser that you really feel comfortable with. I did try one other salon here in Houston. I am not saying it was a bad experience, they were nice and well priced. But i am used to a little more and after looking at your salon pictures i think you might be the one. I agree with one of the above comments “You get what you pay for” so i dont mind paying as long as its Wonderful work and excellent products.
I am happy to go see you tomorrow and after my experience i will post my results.
Because of the Dominican Touch, my hair has reverted back to a healthy, bouncy, remy-like-to-the touch feel and lush-fat- and- curly feel when wet. What I am looking for in a stylist in genuine appreciation, unbiased talent, tactfulness, and professional staff. I say that because I had a Domican Stylist here in Houston, but became livid and highly insulted by the acumen and perception at that place (it was a last-draw kinda thang)…prices are a plus too… but… I realize you have to be somewhat competitive to thrive. What would your response be to that Lucy? Is your salon the place for a Natural Diva like myself? I would like to come by soon and check you out!
Hi viewers, my name is Christina and I have been living in Houston for about 3 years. I live on the North side so Lucy’s salon is very convenient in terms of location. I have been to Ana’s dominican salone once on the south side but my sister has been there quite a few times. Just to give you a little history on me as a client, I have natural hair, not too thick but not extremely fine either but I can straighten my hair on my own and have for a year now. Therefore when I go to a salon I look for quality of the service and the overall salon appearance. I have been to Lucy’s salon about 5 times and I thought it was appropriate to make a comment now since I have been more than a few times. One thing I can say about Lucy’s is that when you walk in, you feel like you are in a true salon, not just a Dominican salon, but any normal regular salon, equipped with a receptionist, products for sale in a showcase and products visibly displayed throughout the shop. The shop also is separated with dryers in their own section of the salon, sinks in their own section and stylist stations on another side of the shop. Very atypical for most Dominican salons which appear to look like warehouses and factory’s that try to get you in and out. While Lucy was doing my hair she noticed it was really dry and I had a lot of dandruff. Without me asking her, and instead of immediately washing my hair, she took the time to comb my hair and scratch some of the dandruff out to aide in a successful wash. This is something no other dominican salon I’ve been too would ever take the time to do because they are so focused on quantity of heads versus quality of the finished product. Lucy also asks often if you are okay, if the shampoo is too hard, the water too hot, etc. She honestly does care about the end result. She also took the time to ask me about the breaking of my hair in the front and if I use the flat iron a lot (which is a bad thing). She wants to know the history of your hair so she can find the most effective treatment. Another thing I like is that they don’t use the same shampoo on every client and they really tailor your experience. If you have color on your hair, they use something different, if you have a lot of dandruff, they use an anti-dandruff shampoo, etc. As far as the prices are concerned, yes Lucy’s prices are more expensive than NY prices and $5-$10 more than dominican salons on the south side of town. However Lucy has put way more money in to her salon so her clients can have a better experience and she has better equipment including a steamer for deep conditioners, comfortable driers, and professional and distinct stylist stations with individual mirrors and utensils. Overall I like my experience and I think everyone should try the salon at least once and formulate your own opinion but my overall opinion is good
lucy espero que tu prosperes con tusalon y que te salga todo bien y que el señor te llene de bendiciones…
que linda nicole,tqm gracias!!
I called Lucy’s Salon yesterday to make an appointment for a blowout. I am not sure who answered the phone because I didn’t get a name. I was put on hold for several minutes. During that time I heard the person who answered my call holding several other conversations with people in the background. Eventually the line went quiet. No one ever returned my phone call to apologize or even attempt to schedule the appointment. I was so very disappointed in the customer service I received because I was looking forward to getting my hair done there. If I could say anything to Lucy it would be to please make sure the people answering the phones are more helpful and courteous because they left me with a bad first omission of your salon. I’m sure you do great work however I was so put off by my experience that I don’t see myself giving you my business
She is a good stylist but her prices are too high. Just for a perm is $80.00 every where else is $60.00. A wash n set is $45.00 other dominican salon charge you $30 and up depending on the lenght of your hair if is reasonable. I wish she would lower her prices !!!!!!!! start a wash n set at $30.00 please
Hi. This is Lucy the owner of Lucys Salon. I am having specials this month on wash and sets on tues and wednesdays only. We are having our wash and set for permed hair start @ 30.00 and for natural hair it will start @ 40.00. Please call me for an appointment and mention this add. Thank you.
I am so grateful and lucky to have found such a wonderful professional like Lucy and her beauty salon. One day as I was driving back home I found a sign on the road titled “salon dominicano”. I immediately saved it in my list of contacts. I had been looking for a beauty salon since I had damaged my hair from coloring and relaxing. I made an appointment and got to know what it is to have soft, beautiful hair. It has been five months of wonderful experiences at the salon. One thing that I love about Lucy is that she is passionate about hair, she loves what she do, and is an EXPERT in hair. Every time I come to her salon I feel valued, respected, and cared for. I have recommended her to my family and friends. They have had the same experience as well. They love coming to Lucy’s hair salon and do it in a regular basis just like I do. My hair has improved so much since I came to Lucy’s. It is now healthy, shiny, and very, very manageable. I recommend everyone to come and find out what it is to have the hair you always dreamed of! – Lucy will make it happen
Hello Lucy. I had heard from a friend in new york that dominican salons with the blow ouhad seen many of the goodt is the best and it would help my hair a lot. Over the past 3 years its like my hair just took a 360 turn. It used to be thick long and healthy and now I don’t know what’s going on its falling out and dry and many other issues. I found your information on craigslist and have read many good reviews about you. I would really love to make an appointment and come in. I have been calling every chance that I have had today but no one is answering the phone. I will try calling again tomorrow.
Hi Shenna. Thanks for coming to the salon today.I hope you had a nice visit and that you liked the way you hair turned out. Everything that I explained to you concerning your hair , was for the most part for your benefit. My intentions are always to let the client know what is healthier for their hair and what process to take. Thanks for visiting Lucys Salon. Hope to see you again.
I visited Lucy’s salon for the first time 2 weeks ago and I enjoyed the service and the way my hair turned out. I haven’t seen my hair so soft and full of body since I grew out my relaxer 8 years ago. Tyciana was my stylist and she did an excellent job. She took the time ask me questions about my hair and suggested what conditioning treatments I should do on my hair. I do look forward to come back and visit the ladies at Lucy’s Salon. God Bless you and all of your endeavors!!
hola lucy soy la puertorique~a, la q se fue a ser los rayitos en la parte de ariva todo el mundo le ha encantado el corte y los rayitos mucha suerte nos vemos pronto.!!

Hi…I visited the salon with my mother who had an appt. with Lucy. I really enjoyed the service and the staff were very nice. I did not even schedule and appt. and ended up getting my hair done with my mother. Lucy was very professional and gave my mother and I great insight about our hair. Its been a few days and my hair was done with the roundbrush and I really like it. The lady who actually set my hair in the rollers was very nice and took her time..(cant remember her name..sorry..lol), and my mothers cut really turned out nice. …..We will continue doing business with Lucy….thank you so much…God Bless

I would like to thank Lucy and her staff for the great job they have done with my hair. I have received soooo many compliments and have referred a couple of people as well. The first time I went to the salon, I had Ty working on my hair. She was so professional and explained everything that she did or put on my hair. She is great!!!
The second time I went into the salon, the young lady(sorry I forgot her name) that washed and roller set my hair was great as well. I have been going to this salon for two months now and I don’t have to wait 6 hours before my hair is finished to leave. They are very caring and want to make sure that your hair is healthy.
Although I have read that their prices are higher than other dominician salons in Houston. Her prices are comparable to what most non dominican beauty salons in Houston are charging. Best of all she’s located close to my home. I have found my new salon:).
Give Lucy’s Salon a try, I did and love it!!!
Hi Luz,
I would like to visit you’re salon on Friday 13th to get my hair done by you. I am visiting the Houston area and found you on the internet. Could you please email me your address phone number so that I can call and make and appointment? Thanks, Sherry

Thanks Jennifer! I did get in contact with Lucy and have an appointment to get my hair done on Friday. Thanks again for your help.
Sherry
Awesome!!! Let us know how it goes
Ok so, I am a real person, and a real client of Lucy’s Salon. I have to say that I am more than pleased with the results and services that I receive from Lucy’s Salon. Ladies if you are looking for a dominican stylist that can help you gain beautiful healthy hair, then you should give Lucy a call. I’ve read a few of the posts here and I just wanted to address the price issue some people seem to have. Some people might feel that Lucy’s prices are expensive, I’m a firm believer of the old saying “you get what you pay for” I believe that Lucy’s prices are aligned with the quality of service and results you receive when you step into her salon. I’ve spent 4 years on the east coast and I’ve never spent less that $40 on a blow out, I’m very particular about my hair so I would feel just about as comfortable with paying $15-$20 for a hair service as I would paying $15K for a brand new Mercedes Benz. With that said, I hope that you ladies would at the very least try Lucy’s Salon, because Im beyond thrilled that I did.
Hi,
I googled dominican salons in Houston and found your site. I have never been to a dominican salon although I’ve heard good things about it. I am a black woman with just below the shoulders relaxed hair. I’ve been contemplating going natural, but am truly not sure about that. My hair has been growing out since maybe April or May. Because of my indecision, I have also been considering doing a Keratin Treatment until I can figure things out. Does your salon offer Keratin Treatments? Of course it’s not difficult to find a salon in Houston to perform the service, but $300.00+ is a bit expensive. Also, my daughter just had a Keratin service performed out of state for less and it’s made her hair super manageable.
I’m looking for a salon to possible try the process for myself and to maintain my daughter’s virgin hair…it is the only thing that has EVER straightened and smoothed her hair.
What would you recommend?
Thanks,
Yanna
Hi Yanna. I recommend that you go to the salon for a consultation. I can give you my expert advice of what I think is better. I am on a streak on doing keratin treatments and the results are really awesome. I need to see your hair first before I can give you a price. I have 2 product lines of keratin treatments that work well depending on how you want to wear and dress your hair. Thanks again for the comments . Call me or text me anytime for an appointment. tues – sat 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. 281-736-7756
Loved your YouTube videos featuring the Dominican Blowout. I’m interested in seeing some videos using the Keratin Treatment. Do you have any of those videos?
Thanks!

I went there for the third time to get service. The two time before I was turned around because Lucy said she had too many clients but over the phone I was advised that the last customer will be taken at 5:30 pm. So I was able to get in on my third visited on Saturday 8-11-12 I was the first client at 10:00 am,the wash was ok then I was forced under the sit down dryer because Lucy was not at the shop yet. So when she did come around 11:30 am I was advised by another customer that Lucy was in and to go and get her so she can start my hair, so I. Did so. She blowed out my hair and flat ironed it and when she was done she said the price was $65.00. I ask what did I get done she said she charged me that price because the other stylist completed three clients and she only did me. Which was not true, and she told me that the price would be $45.00 the last time I was turned around but I guess she forgot. I should have now she was a big scam because she will not give a set price of the phone and she don’t have prices post in the shop. Which was a red flag that I ignored. After all that my natural hair did not even last 24 hours. I will not ever go back to this salon.
Hi lucy! I just have a fews days here, seabrook, texas and I don’t know nothing. can u please tell me if we are close to your beauty salon or if u know about one dominican beauty salon by this area…thanks
Hello Lucy,
Im new to Houston and also was trying to find a hair stylist, Im from Chicago I’m use to the egyptian doing my hair.
Hi lucy i am looking for a beauty shop that can do an amazing job of a dominican blowout because i have natural hair and i really want it straightened for christmas.
I was also wondering do you use the crece products?
Okay, so being a Dominican Native Yorker who moved to H-Town 22 years ago, I never could find a Dominican salon to call home. I have subjected myself to all different hairstylists that know nothing about our hair. I am so excited & relieved to see that more Dominican salons are opening. I will definitely be calling to make an appt this coming week.
O.K. Lucy,
Gracias
